Rather than maintain costly monthly gym memberships, an increasing number of people in the UK are choosing to exercise at home, and many are investing in equipment especially designed to give the body a proper workout whilst also being practical for storage.
The average gym membership in the UK is fifty pounds per month, or six hundred pounds a year. The retailer points to a general heightened scrutiny of household budgets as a key reason for the increased interest in home exercise equipment during the downturn.

The Easy Glider Low Impact Exercise machine has also seen increased interest. The device is designed to work core muscle groups whilst avoiding the injuries caused by the recurring impact associated with jogging on concrete.
By combining the regular and varied use of home exercise machines with occasional jogs or trips to the swimming pool, people are finding that they’re able to maintain their fitness levels whilst cutting their monthly outgoings.
