SPEC India had some time ago, bagged two projects from a leading doctor of South Africa. One project was a Clinical Management System and the other was a Medical Aid application.
SPEC India had some time ago, bagged two projects from a leading doctor of South Africa. One project was a Clinical Management System and the other was a Medical Aid application.
Both these applications are somewhat similar in nature. The basic and core difference between both these applications is that the Medical Aid application primarily caters to those patients which are insured as well as for Corporates, where as Clinical Management System takes care of all the OPD (Out Patient Department) whether insured or non insured.
Both these applications provides extensive features starting from managing the workflow of the patients right from the time they enter the clinic and seek an appointment to the time medicines are dispensed, payment is made and until the patient leaves the clinic.
Along with the above basic but yet extensive functionalities, both these applications provides access to Doctors and support staff to view and update the required information as per the defined access rights by the administrator.
